Even though it is actually understandable why these characters are totally forgotten, do you think that an interesting story could bring them back together?

Yes, absolutely. Or separately.

All it takes is one writer with the will to make it happen and a good story to tell.

I think that they could be the occult equivalent to the Headmen.

Nota Bene: Chondu is supposed to be the occult guy of the Headmen but, actually, more often than not, he is their guinea pig.

I also imagined that the quartet could become the "evil Trenchcoat Brigade" of Marvel Comics:
- Phantom Stranger // Dark Rider
- John Constantine // Moondark
- Doctor Occult - Rose Psychic + Deadman // Moondog
