Still got quite a few back issues to find and read... someday. Have not read all the ones tagged with N's and some of the S's... yet. How 'bout others here, how much catch up do you got to do?

EDIT:
Belated reply: Have also read the powerful Magneto vs Red Skull arc in Cap:

Not sure if this was part of your post or just your signature - but how did the Red Skull escape Magneto's punishment?

Sorry if this is off-topic. To reply to your e-mail - I highly recommend the first 24 issues (roughly) of Ultimate X-Men. I know there aren't a lot of Mark Millar fans on these boards, but his early Ultimate X-Men was good stuff. Once Bendis took the reigns, it seemed to lose some depth and I quickly lost interest.

I haven't read Age of Apocalyse either. I more or less considered it optional reading since it seemed to take place in an alternate universe with alternate universe characters. Would folks recommend it?

And a lean, silent figure slowly fades into the gathering darkness, aware at last that in this world, with great power there must also come -- great responsibility!

Crossbones rescued him.

That's sort of my perspective, despite liking alt universes. Even back then, I could barely wait for the whole thing to end. However, I never cared for Apocalypse in the first place, and really didn't like the idea of him having such a successful showing. I couldn't for a second believe that things could have turned out any differently than they did.
