All-New X-factor 007

This issue was all good to go with an all good cover. The added shock ending helped give the 20 pages of everyday discourse, evenly spread amongst all the team members, some necessary comic book fantasy oomph. Of course, the dialogue was all pleasantly lighthearted -as expected- with nuanced character attention for all the X-factor cast. There was some fun Marvel Universe references and so was the introduction of the 2 members of the Dakei family into it.

There were MINOR quibbles that didn't take away from the overall thumbs up:
-continued kooky colouring
-saying "X-Factor has fully assembled" in the PrevPage seems for the benefit of readers only to explain the 6 headshot boxes. However, it read such that Serval intended it to be the quota but AFAIK that was never stated or implied
-Serval security (and seemingly Danger or Warlock senses) haven't detected Avengers earpiece secret transmissions yet
-for some reason the 2 pages of being gunned down failed to pump adrenaline mostly for the annoying lack of details of HOW they survived besides the simple fact that they were NOT standing there when the bullets were flying! did they ring the doorbell from a distance? Did Pietro wisk them each away? Did Lorna just deflect the bullets as they stood there? Something else? While the comedy of moment was fine, hopefully repeated use of the holo-emittors won't take away from dramatic danger as offputtingly as casual use of Fantomex's misdirection power usually does
-lucky for Danger that Georgia was the only short child staying down a seldom used hallway in The Bunker for the, otherwise neat, footprint detector to work ;\)
-as powerful a cliffhanger that was, how crazy are the odds that it was Cypher that found the video online, who was the driving force to mobilize the team, as he blindly contributed no superpowered 'reads' on the mission, only to succumb in that shock ending???!

Do you think and/or want his fate to be final?
