First of all, Quicksilver stole the show. To the point he should have returned for the climax (he certainly could have raced to DC where the action was, rather than just sit watching the thing on the tube). But that "Time in a Bottle" scene? Suddnely, the Avengers have a LOT of heavy lifting to do, and The Flash show has been completely eclipsed. I would say Quicksilver went over bigger and better than even Jackman's bare ass scene.
BUT! Quick question: What was up in the ending? Was that supposed to be ancient Egypt and the origin of the pyramids. I haven't read the comics since issue #175 or so, so I'm way out of the loop. Was that a functional reference to anything?
