No responses from BPMB as of yet , sooo...
what did XMB think of Storm's answer to that question? Or her character presentation in the current black panther issue? T'Challa asks if she is a Goddess and she DOES NOT DENY it! It seemed a spot off character moment, almost -uhh- 'pompous'? what's that dictionary adjective for a person who compares themself to be a deity compared to others? Doc Ock thought he was 'superior' to superhumans but this might go beyond that. Captains Kirk and Picard (or Ray Stantz ) would be ashamed of her non-answer, wouldn't they? Especially, since they were always quick to flat out deny such assumption from lowly natives. In fact, technically, Ororo seemed to go as far as to confirm she was more than 'goddess' in name/title only because... whats that dictionary verb where a being is literally energized/empowered by the prayers of worshippers ...because she stated that's what the poeples of Africa had done for her power showings in the past. Is that right? Maybe like a her 'second mutation'?! Bah. Now, maybe, in her way, she was toying or being coy with her ex-soulmate in this impromptu and flirtatious AND SUDDEN reunion which was unexplained sufficiently following their previous cliffhanger meeting. Whyyy? What with T'Challa having an... unforseen crisis of faith, for this Orisha arc, maybe she didn't want to spoon feed him the answers? And yeah they just have to be friends -ASAP- to market the proposed new The Crew series but wouldn't this, still, be inorganic character moment given her pretty long-standing cold and/or detached attitude toward BP since their annulment?
So to summarize, how'd ya like Ro in BP #13?
