X-Men Blue 018 (2018)
Blue Team visit a What If's New Young-Pseudo-GenX-Resistance Mutants world. Yawn.
Any nitpick or inconsistency can pretty much be chalked up to that. Sigh.
So, THIS surviving powerful telepath Emma claims she can psi-melt the O5 &Co.'s brains and possibly is responsible for masking the rubble of the X-Mansion and yet she only could manage to perceive a slight buzz of the psychic rapport of Tyke-Jeen. Bah.
Going to imagine just The Mansion was masked and the whole fight wasn't an illusion. Eh?
There may have been a cute panel of interaction or decently drawn image here and there. Forgotten by issue end.
So, the only thing to take away is that Tyke still has a mad on for any Emma. Bloodstorm still has the hots for Tyke. And (ridiculously) O5-Hank is orchestrating this time travel trainwreck and is the key buffoon to poorly translate the poo poo paradoxes. Great plan, Blue Team. Not.
Next issue the O5 &Co. aaapppaaarrrently go back in time to when they first fought Magneto. Which is almost a dealbreaker to say let alone contemplate how it will or should play out. Their true alt-timestream origin was finally confirmed only to be overturned in an APPARENTLY almost immediate Editorial flip flop and now the cliffhanger seems to hinge on readers inferring that O5 &Co.'re going to encountering their true selves?? So, let's see are we to believe if, for example, O5-Angel were to kill the Angel fighting Magneto, here, that O5 would instantly fade away and Astonishing X-men would immediately loose a member behind the scenes?? 184.108.40.206.220.127.116.11.9.10...*breathes* Yeah, right.
