see...again, I just don't understand with the anti-Bendis sentiment. What has the guy done that can't find equal amongst the last dozen Avenger writers before him? I've been readin' this book since...hell I have to date myself here...vol. 1, #197 was the first issue I remember owning of ANY comic. Inferno on the cover chucking train cars at Wonderman & Falcon. Bendis hasn't done anything during his era on the book that is any worse than anyone else, unless you're a super-huge Scott Lang fan or something. NO writer has cranked out unparalleled adventures without flaw, not even Stan himself. (Space Phantoms were a terrible idea, period. and their overuse in the early millenium only substantiates that, imo) Why curse the name of bendis for being just as mediocre as anyone else that's worked on the book poorly?

Bendis is just the most prominent of a group of modern writers and artists who decided that the men who created/revived the art form known as comics didn't really know what they were doing.
