Bendis is just the most prominent of a group of modern writers and artists who decided that the men who created/revived the art form known as comics didn't really know what they were doing.
But why is expanding beyond the original parameters of the creation--storyline, character, or team/brand -- so evil? The same argument's been made about a LOT of creators over the last twenty, twenty-five years, for doing things much more & much less heinous than those that BM Bendis has done. So what makes him so evil?
I'm not trying to defend the guy, he's done a few things I don't care for too, I just don't understand the overwhelming hatred of all things even fringely related to projects he's talked about working on that I've seen on the board. It doesn't make sense to me.
