What strange days. I can still clearly remember seeing Star Brand #1 in 1986 among the Marvel pile of new comics in my newsagent and it looked so alien... it didn't belong. Reading it the concept was certainly intriguing but as a read it was dull, lacking that vital spark that I can only call excitement, all of those New Universe titles (bar the immediately addictive D.P.7)had exactly the same problem. "The World Outside Your Window" as we immediately found out that month wasn't the best of mandates for inspiring exciting plots.

And now here we are in 2015 with those supposedly never-meet-the-Marvel-universe character recast and rather redundantly thrown into the Marvel universe to.... do not a lot.

Definitely not your fathers Star Brand and Nightmask.... \(geek\)

Definitely not.
