    • We still don't know 5 W's of Thundra showing up to espy unseen the Namor decapitation last ish. How much time has passed -probably days?- since then. The 5 W's of her current battle against monsters in California. Her baffling connection to the SS. And why the writer is letting her use the word "TWERP".

I dunno. Why shouldn't she use "twerp?" I mean, aside from the fact it doesn't fit Tyndal. Hmph.

    • Hmmm... a bulky warrior Kymelian bent on violence. A bit annoying neither have working translators. And a bit annoying that much of Ray(Kyle)'s Batastic deductive reasoning actually read like unlikely leaps in logic (for exposition ease).

Annoying, perhaps, but believable. When's the last time someone encountered a Kymelian on Earth? What's annoying is that we had to read through it only for it to be translated for us later. What a waste.

    • VERY COOL footnote to AVENGERS #0 included. Are we thinking it happens before #2 or #1 ATM?...

Before #1.

    • Hmmm... Power Princess is a succubus?!

Fits the JMS Power Princess. First thing she did when revived was suck an archaeologist dry. But she should have been killed by the Cabal.

    • Hmmm... MODRED!! He is as SUDDENLY as connected the team as Thundra - which feels equally rushed with their introductions.

Yeah.

    Quote:
    • Hmmm... Doc has a dream that is alleged (& creative way to include) true history. Black Bolt! Was Black Bolt there when the Cabal killed her world?

Yes.

    Quote:
    • Hmmm... Huh! Badoon and Kree added to the growing mix.

Not completely surprising. Remember, part of the build-up to the final Incursion was that the universe aligned against Earth and the armada was destroyed. This could be a holdover from that. Don't really understand how all of that can still have happened, if the universe has been rewritten, but oh well.

    • Wonder how long it took Nite Kite from Galveston Bay to Sonoran Desert. What is distance again?

1000 miles, give or take. Sonora is just south of Tucson, AZ.

Edited: Totally messed up the quotes and counter quotes in the reply.

I had forgotten about the JMS Power Princess and she is definitely on the top of my most loathed character list. I hope she is either killed off or just totally joins the Dark side. "The Greater Good" she chants to herself but it looks like she drained the life force of a fairly innocent person there. If she's in justifying denial of the evil of her actions at least use criminal types.

As for Modred's appearance, he sought her out, I'm waiting to see what the story is there before tossing it into the too convenient basket.

Thundra's 'Twerp' comment; he's a puny little male. She's got worse words in her 'Wimmin's Libber' library she could utilize \:\)

I enjoyed this issue far more than the first but am not looking forward to seeing the albeit hardly Avengers getting jobbed next issue. I certainly hope they put a good beat down on JerkHawk at least.
