His uncle was British so I assume his mother was British (I'm assuming Nathan was Dane's mother's brother...for all I know Nathan could have been his dad's half-brother) and Dane did inherit property in England and I think he has lived in the country when he was a member of Excalibur. But should we assume he has a British citizenship in addition to his American one or should we just think of him as just an American citizen?


Good question, I am under the belief he is of dual citizenship but he shares a lot in common with the likes of Thor, Hercules and other alien members of the Avengers in that he is not really bound to any one place in particular. Dane has spent considerably more time in Avalon, and possibly Otherworld, than he has in Britain or America. So I would speculate there is some licence with the security services/government that gives these characters special dispensation and residency to travel between countries. But to address your point I would have to say I would be very surprised if Dane hadn't dual citizenship in America and Britain. It would be remarkable if he hadn't....
