Patriot II willingly passed on the name to Patriot III so that he could work as a Arizona Voter Registrar. It's revealed in Captain America - Sam Wilson #24. Comments?
[EDIT and Proper English question: Does the "he" in sentence above refer to Patriot II, noun, or the Patriot III, noun, as written? What punctuation is needed to refer to "the other noun". It can't be inflection - or is it a poorly written sentence. Just bugged me and was too lazy to try to look it up to see if there was a quick answer?]
Typical of Marvel to introduce a new character of a theme who is less interesting than the existing character they took the theme from.
This could have been an excellent opportunity for Bradley to shine, but instead we get this hastily cobbled together pretender.
