Thanos 010

If you're a fan of Thanos get this book. He convincingly (albeit predictably) escapes DC's Source WallGod Quarry through his indomitable willpower. Then he arrives to impressively challenge the current avatar to The Phoenix Force and his Infinity Event dangler, his son Thane.

If you're a fan of the Avengers -heads up- you may not want to bother getting this book. 'Cuz it ain't them. It's an issue length -first and final appearance of a- What If illusionary line up to waste your time - like too many a Holodeck adventure in the Trek shows. Well, to be fair that is still his real brother, and ex-Avenger, Starfox sitting around and getting blasted smashed by his ungrateful, skull-popping, Mad Titan brother. Hmm... Marvel hypes the Thor/Loki brotherly dysfunction but clearly this pair of siblings is at least, if not more, scary.

Just a plain self-discovery type story - Thanos doesn't want to be happy, he wants to be Thanos. Nebula, Tryco, Sisters of Eternity, "Death" were all back again, too, to basically fill page space here. More interested with what happens to Phoenix over the same old Thanos but not excited by the next ish at all.

Starfox? Did he get his powers back? If he did, did they ever explain how (I thought that Mentor took them away after his trial in She- Hulk.)? I am a Champion fan as well, so I hope that they are writing him well. Thanks
