Makes no sense to me either. But in Cap's book, he stops at a small town and they all love him like the whole Captain Nazi thing never happened. Seems to be Marvel's editorial mandate: there shall be no consequences. Secret Empire was a "What If."

I guess in a way it's better. Secret Empire was a story that should never have been told. Now we can all pretend it never was. All we have to do is apply some Orwellian doublethink.


But there are consequences! Look at Vegas. *rolls eyes*

Frankly though, I want zero consequences from that disgusting on every level event. It should have ended with no deaths, NaziCap dissolved like the fake he is, and the world thinking they dreamed it all.
