Wow! I didn't know that. I knew she could exert the full strength of her full-sized form. But superhuman strength? Cool!

I'm just not seeing what all the hubbub is. So, Earth is in another crisis. And this is different than the other eleventy hundred crises?

I resist thinking like that. If we can't retread the basic superhero tropes repeatedly forever, we'll end up instead with the "What If" stories of the past 17 years. Sure, new stuff happened, unprecedented stuff, but none of it could be allowed to stand, because it warped the Marvel mythos too much, so everything eventually just evaporated. None of it ever meant anything, because it couldn't, it was too out of left field.

The ending just doesn't work because everybody seems to know who she is... except us. Who is she? Why should I care? What makes her return so interesting? I think there should have been some kind of #0/Alpha issue that introduced her before this.

I'm curious about her - but more than that, I'm curious about where Mark Waid is going with this story line. Why is the past different from what we thought it was? How does this altered past tie into the current crisis?
