Redwing. No longer undead and laser-eyed? I guess that happened in some other story, right? I couldn't discern that from what I see in this comic. But I'm glad he's no longer undead and laser-eyed. I just want him to be a bird. He never needed to be anything else but a bird.

Yeah. I think the only point to Redwing being undead was so that the new Falcon could be a human/falcon/vampire hybrid. And I'm not really sure why we need one of those. The new Hispanic Falcon was genetically bonded with the undead Redwing. /shrug

Captain Marvel always seems to get trapped without access to the Earth. It's a thing with her.

Maybe a good thing. She can do less damage.

Nadia is cool. A true legacy hero. Interesting that she isn't Janet's daughter. Just Hank's. Is Janet totally cool with Nadia calling herself "Wasp"?

She's Hank's daughter with his first wife, Maria Trovaya, the Hungarian. Nadia was raised in Russia until running away to America.

Janet's been the world's most awesome step-mother or whatever you call the woman who divorced your dad. Janet takes her shopping all the time and settled her immigration stuff. Before Nadia showed up, Janet was already claiming to have retired (in the Ant-Man series), but she still does heroing stuff obviously.

Nadia's also a braniac, because all of the next generation superkids have to be this. She has this super hitech HQ/laboratory in the microverse that she can access whenever she wants. And she's created her own female scientist superteam: G.I.R.L. Very busy for only being here a year and change. \:D

Jarvis seems to have a thing: caring for teen-age girls. I still remember (fondly) Silverclaw. I don't know why she was so unpopular. I thought she was cool. And I thought the relationship with Jarvis was cool. So now Marvel is reconstituting the Jarvis relationship but with Nadia instead of Silverclaw. OK. I can go with that.

If only Dani Cage would have been older when Luke/Jess were around...

So Red Hulk is some different guy now and he's small but has red skin. OK. Does he get bigger? I see he packs a gun.

Yeah. His name is Robert Maverick (a US Army general). The Hulk process is more artificial, and it's left him with severe muscle and bone loss, high blood pressure, and some other bad stuff (and the red skin seems permanent). He can only get Hulked up for brief periods at risk of dying.

Iron Patriot. OK. Pink hair, super-genius. Got it. I'm always a fan of super-heroines with pink hair. I hope she does a lot of cool stuff. In this issue she saves the day for a lot of people. Excellent.

Daughter of old Iron Man character Prof. Ho Yinsen. She's technically in charge of a kinder/gentler AIM.

Sunspot wears a suit and is called Citizen V nowadays. OK. Does he still have powers?

Yes, but he also got the M-Pox from Terrigen. He's actually more powerful than ever, but using his powers causes him to age, hence the white streak in his hair.

I thought he was wearing a headband that he could use huis power?
