    Perez did this poster for the 30th anniversary in 1993.

    It's Perez, therefore it's beautiful, but c'mon, Marvel! Do you actually care so little that you won't even make something new?

Now that I've displayed my ignorance for all to see - again and as usual - I find myself wondering WHY this particular image was chosen. Yes, it's pretty, and maybe that's all the reason Marvel needed. But could there be clues in this? Why choose this particular era?

Also - why was Spider-Man in it? I thought Bendis was the first to put Spidey on the team.
