> Yeah. The HQ was, iirc, a few miles outside of Austin, TX. Agreed about the commutes, for Kamala and Miles especially. Not to mention how was Kamala also with Secret Warriors. *headache*
Pass the aspirin.
> As for Viv 2.0, there being two of them causes a WTF, imo. Should they even trust her? She's really not Viv. Kinda horrible that Vizh would even name her Viv. But yeah, this would probably be overlooked if there were only one of them.
Maybe. Still, just because Vizh says he built a 'real live real girlezoid' shouldn't mean she has the same 'special sentience' that has been afforded him by The Avengers (and readers). Even SHIELD who as acknowledged that 'some' A.I.'s are 'real beings' turned around and rationalized going around and permanently shutting them down at the end of the AIvengers Run, right? As ugly as the analogy is, there must be backissue examples where copies and transferred consciousness into machines were treated as if the original by The Avengers (and writer?). Not sure. There's Jocasta, right? She was destroyed and 'copied' and accepted back on the team without fanfare. And Vizh told Nadia that Viv2.0 was going to be AT LEAST 'good enough' for him to get closure saying goodbye. It will be interesting to see if they followup on the odd/weird/confusing fact that he said he used a backup drive from wife Virginia. So, Viv2.0 should not remember (almost) all of Viv1.0's superheroing. Well, that would probably be a good argument for The Champions to say NO. But she would function the same and they'd be respecting Vizh's wishes (if Viv1.0 had not returned) by a YES.
> I can understand voting no though. Should Ben Reilly automatically get Avengers status? I don't really see this as different than a clone sitch. Duplicate Riker doesn't automatically lead the Enterprise.
Well, imo, clone (as replacements) are different in the MU because we have seen precident thanks to Death
, herself, that the clone clearly has a different AND EXISTING soul than the original. Not sure how to compare them IRL though as Dolly the Sheep has still got theologists and scientists debating. But you're right - clones definitely should not be given instant Avengers acceptance or we'd have a freakin' murderous Madame Masque running around with Identicard priviledges.
> Surely not. I'm guessing it's like the thing about having a girl in Canada. Wait... you're in Canada, right?
Go! Alpha Flight! Go!
> Well, us "Americans" have a trope about a girlfriend in Canada. Often, it means fictional. Having lost your virginity to a girl in Canada often means you're still a virgin. And it can also mean you're "in the closet." Kids will make up someone in Canada so they don't have to provide proof.
Ah. It's not just the obvious fact he's telling a lie that can't be disproven. That gives the eps of Cheers about Cliff bragging about his Canadian GF Maggie, funnier on another level, eh.
> Wasn't Sam in Monsters Unleashed with Devil Dinosaur?
Need. More. Aspirin.
It's not that bad. More to the point that he is seeking NOT TO COPY A CODENAME which is extremely commendable and would wipe out (at least) one of the shared strikes against all these Legacy hero upstarts who egregiously choose active codenames.

Hey, a new strategy to consider when The Avengers go up against Pymtron?!
Hmm... will Pymtron meet any "great/granddaughter" Viv any time soon? Did he even hear of her since that Secret Empire reunion?
