Aaron Taylor-Johnson

> As if Pietro's gonna admit to being second! HA!

Hmmph. The overused "Undisclosed Location", eh? Another misused trope to throw into the pet peeve pyre.

> He's the source of the old quote about whether you win or lose and playing games.
Thanks. Wiki-ed now.

> Don't agree. Even if she could trust him not everybody needs to be used.
Everybody should be doing SOMETHING constructive, was my point. Even if it's involves not being on the away missions. That's the whole summons scenario, isn't it? He could have volunteered or be assigned to comm tower support or somesuch. Search & rescue, recon, monitor duty & stand by, etc. The writer and Pietro should've shared that.

> Yeah. Everybody forgot about it... except Waid now. It was kind of a plot device place just dreamed up so that the Avengers could flee the USArmy.
K.

> Well, I think Rogue is the obvious choice for him, wanting to show her up specifically. Hers is the team he wanted to be on-- the Heavy Hitters.
That would have been a reasonable and believable character decision example that should have been clearly narrated.

Great link.

> There seems to be a limit to the number of "obstacles" usable. When Wanda freed Vision, Pietro became frozen.

Interesting theory. Never thought of that (as a simple explanation of who gets frozen). So to... reword "obstacle" - maybe Grandmaster is only allowed a certain number of "playing pieces" of superhuman ability. Whatever dumb criteria that was agreed upon the heroes and villains of the world were all "frozen", and as you say since Vizh was put back on the board then automatically some crazy picking order caused the untimely removal of the Quicksilver piece?

> Frankly, despite Squirreliness, I would have chosen Squirrel Girl.
One of the conditions of the game was probably to preclude the use of an Unbeatable piece. \:D

> Hmm... can people be killed or injured while frozen? Is Pietro gonna die like he's dead in the movies?
If your theory proves true then talk about having a bad day! So, what? - to save face he's going to show he can die quicker than Jarvis can (or any other Avenger in this arc)? j/k but seriously: Nooo!
