Quote: > Well, I think Rogue is the obvious choice for him, wanting to show her up specifically. Hers is the team he wanted to be on-- the Heavy Hitters. That would have been a reasonable and believable character decision example that should have been clearly narrated. I don't think we need to be told that. We were pretty much shown it. I think it would have been odd if Pietro had gone to Peru. Yes, it's about 1000 miles closer, but not once did Pietro seem interested in Peru. As I said in my previous response, "As if Pietro would admit to being second." Yeah, I agree that it would have been strange for him to go to Peru instead and that the narrative had already established why he'd go to support Rogue's team. I found the same thing regarding why Pietro was frozen - the fact that it happened immediately after Vision was released shows a connection between the two. There must be a predetermined number of heroes that stay frozen (and the reason for that will be explained later). I've enjoyed this arc so far - there are mysteries to be revealed but each issue is providing more clues or reveals. Also, I thought that Pietro's characterization was spot on this issue. | |||||||
