Quote:It's good... buuut, wow, this arbitrary player substitution is crazy contrivance. And Simon leaving mid-battle for personal reason/decision and coincidentally is perfect guinea pig to try and help Jarvis' still strange condition is crazy contrivance.
I took it to mean that Simon could get to the battle just as fast without the jet while still stopping off for a few. It's already established that he's faster than just about any jets, so this isn't new.
Of course, the post-Siege Quinjet had wormhole tech, but I don't think that's the case anymore.
Quote:The repeated vague and clueless epilogue page (with APPARENTLY The Hulk returning) was just a repeat of last ish. The bonus page theme of all MU title with Real Logan returning, post-Legacy, was just another (APPARENTLY purposed) random globetrotting sighting for no rhyme or reason.
Glad they got the right state this time.
Quote:All that was definitely OFFPUTTING stuff. Now, here's the good stuff:
Quote:-the annoying poser-ish cover was beautiful
-the inside art was okay
I thought the inner art was gorgeous.
Quote:-whole issue narration from Rogue's POV was engaging and relatable
Yeah, though I found it to be a bit overstated.
Quote:-Herc says Voyager's first name for the first time "VALERIE", afaik
Avengers #676 gave her name in narration (from Sam's POV), and Wanda called her "Val" immediately.
Quote:-Jan was switched in when Torch 'died' is explained [and yet why did the foe that claim a prize not replaced? eh? eh?]
-interesting, if contrived, new power evolution for Simon -maybe somewhat unneeded upgrade- and yet oddly it fails... interesting but weird to see [This new siphon power will come in handy against any Hulk or Spectrum.]
Don't think it was anything new for his powers.
I believe it was new for Wonderman to siphon off radiation, he seemed surprised by it. Seems he's going to get physical again when confronting the enemy (as he did against Hydra).
