Still, a hero that bends/breaks their morals in times of duress or an Avengers that intentionally breaks the team's NO KILL creed should definitely... be considered/discussed in such scenarios - whether justified or not. Was it self-defense when other game options/strategies were not prepped.

Good point. If Captain America or some other Avenger moralist had been around, much hand-wringing would have ensued. Back in the day, something similar would have ensued if Scott Summers had been around. At some point, if/when one of the Avenger moralists find out, Rogue may be suspended or expelled.

Hmm. Come to think of it, none of the May 2018 Avengers are in this story at all. Apparently the Gamesmmaster didn't want them. I wonder why. I also wonder if it means something that they're not in this story yet they'll be the only Avengers come May. Will the No Surrender team be trapped in some alternate universe?

No drama in losing keys if you can teleport. \:\)

Very true.

The solicit for next issue is fun. The Injun has the pistols and the Paleface has the bow and arrows! Love it.

Link? This one says it differently: One Avenger will gamble everything to save thousands — and the odds aren't in his favor!

The solicit in the comic says the same. The Injun/Paleface comment was my own.

The original cover for #682 or I prefer # 618 or if you count the point 1 and Monster Unleashed #628.
