And that black costume was truly iconic. I liked her in the Ms. Marvel identity and costume. Well, as much as I've ever been able to like her, which was never really all that much.

She always seemed to me to be an Avenger who should only appear in the Avengers comic, and there's nothing wrong with that. One of my favorite of all characters (the Vision) is in the same category (though to me he dominated that category).

Wouldn't it be great if they had given the honor of first female movie to someone cool like Spectrum, or the truly deserving Black Widow?

She-Hulk. I mean seriously. She-Hulk has been Marvel's most iconic female character for almost 40 years. Marvel insisting their iconic female character is Carol Danvers doesn't magically make her that. For some reason Marvel shies away from going full steam ahead with She-Hulk in every conceivable entertainment medium and merchandising category. I guess they think she's derivative (as if that has ever mattered).
