    Avengers 683

    • Comms are still intermittant for story logic purposes (Beast did get the report that touching a Pyramoid results in "disintegration"),

Makes me think of Stranger Things, which was purposely set in the 1980s so cell phones wouldn't be a factor. Funny how Synapse's random power set excludes long distance telepathy.

    • There is tons of precedent that Pym Particle Size Changers have projected the effect onto other but not being a fan of this random/inconsistent ability made this micro-surgical strike less than engaging. We get a boring imitation of an internal bio-system tour compared to the classic Hank Pym trek thru Vizh's body or even the FF saving Willie Lumpkin from the inside.

Wouldn't it be great if this story rose to the heights of the Kree/Skrull War?

Beast comments he doesn't rely on oxygen molecules at a size almost as small but in the next ..err.. breath, we are shown the air bubbles escaping his lungs. Weird.

Interesting narration - that the Pym particles keep the micro-person alive despite the impossibility (or inadvisability at least) of inhaling. (The art contradicts that, of course, which makes me wonder which came first - the art or the narration.)

    • Nadia can't grab a Pyramoid who knows why.

I'm guessing - purely a guess - Voyager stopped her. After all, we don't know Voyager's true power set.

    • Origin details/clues of this Pathogen Virus Entity are non-existant. It is underwhelmingly destroyed.

"Underwhelming" is a good adjective for this series. And I was really optimistic at the beginning. In fact the first few issues were pretty good. But boy did the series degenerate.

    • Nadia's calvary moment was just thrown in our face.

And so the Beast accomplished exactly nothing in this entire issue. Plus he amateurishly dropped his weapon and became a dunsel in distress.

    • Voyager claims a the Pyramoid - and by this time readers should think her a part of The Obstacles so that should mean the Game ended in a tie. "Ho hum"? But Beast trys to spin it as a scary cliffhanger.

The scoring system for this game is a conundrum to me, but I'm pretty sure the Pyramoid is still in play until someone touches it. However, I think Voyager is playing a different game entirely. I think she wants the Spirit Pyramoid to use as a weapon or a tool or an energy source or - something.

    • ALL that previous Hulk in the Epilogue in all the earlier Parts but for no good reason (besides poor story pacing) he does NOT EVEN appear after last issue tease! BAH!

I'm with you.
