Subj: BTW, in French, the Peregrine should be translated into le Faucon Pèlerin. Calling him Le Peregrine has been a recurring mistake since his 1st appearance. :-)

Where's my European Avengers Team? I want to see the likes of Le Peregrine, Blitzkrieger, the Dutch Spiderman, Captain Britain, Shamrock, Hercules, El Aguila, and other European heroes form an EU-like team.

In his 1st appearance, he is introduced as the Peregrine (his name in English).

Then, when Wolverine asks him who he is, Alain Racine tries to answer in "Franglish" that he is called Le Peregrine.

Since then, the mistake has been repeated multiple times.

Up to the point that the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe made it worse (see below) : "Peregrine" is not French for "falcon". "Peregrine" is English for "Pèlerin" or "Pérégrin". In French, a peregrine falcon is translated into faucon pèlerin.
