Who among us would buy a Winter Guard comic?

Just curious.

I react to "Russian Avenger analogues" about the same as some of us react to, for example, "Hulkverine" - yet precisely because I'm a reader of Weapon H, I know a book can transcend its premise.

I used to be intrigued by the original Red Guardian. Apparently (per Wikipedia) Vanguard took the Red Guardian name at one point but now he calls himself Vanguard again? And apparently (again per Wikipedia) Vanguard is both a mutant and a super soldier? I'm not sure what to make of any of that. But I'm interested.

Ursa Major is just cool. I mean, he turns into a bear. 'Nuff said.

Darkstar was a member of the original Champions so I will always be a fan of hers.

Crimson Dynamo was a classic Iron Man foe so I will always be a fan of his.

Chernobog is the obligatory ridiculous member that every Marvel team should have.

I don't know enough about the others to have opinions.

If Marvel published a Winter Guard comic, I would probably try it, so long as Jason Aaron wasn't writing it.

I'd go with the shieldless Red Guardian, Darkstar, Vanguard, Power Surge, Perun, Vostok, Crimson Dynamo, Siberian Tiger, Ursa Major, Starshine (in complete control), a new Fantasia/Fantasma, and a speedster, with guest star/cameo/villain roles by the Russian Radioactive Man, the original Electro, the Titanium Man and a Russian attempt at duplicating the Hulk.
