... the Thunderbolts might be on the horizon:
- Helmut Zemo is in the Raft.
- The disgraced John Walker is approached by the Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine aka "Val".
- Georges Batroc is in contact with Sharon Carter.
... and it is rumored that Valentina Allegra de Fontaine could appear in the Black Widow movie. So it is possible that she works with Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross.
I suppose that the future release of the 2nd Suicide Squad movie has prompted Disney-Marvel to test the waters.
Nota Bene: in comics...
- John Walker became the new Captain America thanks to "Val" Cooper, the overseer of Freedom Force, a precursor of the Thunderbolts.
- After becoming the warden of the Raft, John Walker helped select potential recruits for the Thunderbolts team.
- Batroc was recently a member of the latest version of the Thunderbolts.
