Amen. Hugo's my favorite, and I'd love to see him get hold of Jason Todd...

I think a couple of them might be dead, but anyone can wear an animal head, so I'd like to see a return of the concept, but expanded a bit, not too far, don't make them meta-humans, but take it a step further than just a guy with a head on. Restraint is the key here. Turn them into meta-humans and you miss the point. But the shark guy having three rows of filed teeth and liking to bite people, that was perfect.

They were in a Detective arc not too long ago, now in the Death in the City trade. I'm fond of the Terrible Trio myself though. \:\)

I'm pretty sure the Obeah Man's dead, but he DID have one. \:\) That one even killed Robin's mom, didn't he?

I'm apparently the same sort of fan as you. More mad scientists like Hugo Strange as a general rule. I'd love to see Dr. Phosphorus again, or Sterling Silversmith as well. The upcoming return of the Wrath is a pleasing turn of events for me as well.

Oh... and let's borrow Gentleman Ghost and Shadow-Thief for Hawkman for an arc, shall we? \:\)

I recently got to read Hugo Strange's first appearance, back in the Golden Age. I liked it a lot.

I think it was the Detective arc that revealed the three rows of teeth. \:\)

I'm partial to these guys because the very first Silver Age Batman comic I ever got to read had them in it! But also they scratch my itch for flamboyant gangsters. \:\)

I have a vague recollection of that name, but no picture to go with it, except one that I think I'm conjuring up out of my own imagination.

Mad scientists are perfect enemies for Batman.

I'd like him to have a Fu-Manchu kind of enemy. Heck, DC should stick it to Marvel and get the rights to Fu-Manchu himself! He'd make a terrific foe for Batman. I wouldn't bother with Dennis Nayland Smith, since Batman would be filling that role. But I think I'd find a way to make Alfred prominent in the stories. Wouldn't it be wild if Alfred, as a younger man, had a romantic fling with Fu-Manchu's daughter? \:\)

Hey, let's face it, "Batman versus Fu-Manchu" would make a great movie! \:\)

Hmm. I'll have to think about those. They have super powers, so as a general rule I'd avoid them, but Gentleman Ghost seems a nice opportunity for a Batman/Deadman team-up. Actually, my recollection of Gentleman Ghost is hazy. Is he a real ghost?
