> Superman doesn't even come close to the level of The Dark Knight.
> The only reason Superman gets so much praise is because it was the first superhero comic book adaptation done to some degree of seriousness. However the film while good wasn't great. It barely had a villain, the acting was cheesy, the script went nowhere, and Superman was a cliched boyscout without any relevance and depth.

ok, while I did say dark knight far exceeded superman, i think its a bit of a stretch to say hulk and iron man were better. Superman was a great movie. marlon brando was a fantastic jor-el. so good, they dug up his audio to put in superman returns 30 years later. gene hackman as luthor was the best movie villain of all time (until Heath's Joker).

and lois "dying" there for a minute? that was intense until supes did the dumb go back in time thing.

superman was awesome!

the dark knight surpasses EVERY film ever made! heres my list- 1. the dark knight 2. spiderman 3 3. spiderman 1
