> I recently got my ahold of the Cataclysm storyline (as well as Aftershock, Road to No Man's Land and No Man's Land itself) and I was wondering why the Justice League and other heroes didn't help Batman out when his city went through hell. There wasn't even a mention of any other hero outside the Batman family.

Superman does come to Gotham to help out with the rebuilding, but finds that it is too much for him. Though he pops up from time to time. As for the rest of the League, during this period, Batman wasn't too fond of anyone other than his partners being in Gotham. He'd have a fit if Black Canary or Conner Hawke showed up to take care of business, especially if they didn't consult him first. The story was designed to focus on the Batman characters, with only Superman having the most interaction outside of the Bat Group.
