One newspaper has already asked this same question: http://news.bostonherald.com/track/celebrity/view/2008_08_05_Heath_Ledger_dies__Christian_Bale_hits_jail_and_now_Morgan_Freeman_hurt:_Blockbuster_curse/srvc=home&position=1

And?

He was still arrested. Just because you go willingly with the police doesn't mean you won't be arrested.

> C) Car accidents are one of the big killers in this world. Cars are death traps.

Not really since you have to consider how much of your time is spent in a car. They certainly aren't "death traps". The chance of you dieing in a car crash is 1 in 18,585 .

But, and while this is a morbid thought, I think Morgan Freeman has to die for people to consider this movie to be cursed.

As a fan of his, I hope he makes a full recovery.

... really needs their head examined. This isn't even like opening King Tut's tomb, just some damn movie. Sometimes bad things just happen. Saying Heath Ledger died (or Morgan Freeman was in a terrible car accident) because of a movie they starred in, is an insult to both of them, and a highly whacked-out and inaccurate one at that. Try explaining your "curse theory" to their families.
