Hardly, it didnt clear up countdown, of final crisis , or RIP.
I was actually sorry I spent money on it.
I usually ( post X men ) love Morrisons stuff, but 702 just seemed to add more ( un needed ) confusion onto a good , but already confusing idea.

I am reading and loving Batman and Robin,
im not readed return of bruce wayne. I know he will be back and it seems to me Bats 702 played with and added to the idea of bruce traveling throu time.
I think I m happy not knowing what hes doing , I think I am happy
not knowing what this ancestor box is..

I guess I may want to wade in the pool of Grant Morrison, but not get to deep into it.

It's not that difficult to figure out even before this came out. All that Morrison revealed was that more happened to Bruce than just being hit with the Omega Sanction.

As to the rest, it's simple: Darkseid thought he could destroy Bruce and invoke his failsafe which is what we see in issue one. The creature has evolved into Simon Hurt. As to what Bruce has endured, he's surviving it because he already did. Bruce is living out what his future self already did when he went back in time and came forward. Hence Mordicai Wayne always looked like Bruce, because it was Bruce. But from his point of view, he doesn't realize what he's done.

Basically: Everything happened had happened. We're just seeing it from Bruce's point of view.
