Right from the patented BWAH-HA-HA-HA Blue Beetle laugh with the unique Dracula accent, found myself smiling for most of the issue. Having JUST previously read an unentertaining Dracula story in Xmen 3.

Liked:
-perfect old movieposter-like textured cover and SELF CONTAINED adventure to cater to Twighlight demographics in a refreshing twist way. Plus theres the clever top blurb
-the time jump ahead setup was done well
-touching base with Stephs family life
-quick change of Kara
-Babs has her other series given props with BoP footnote.
-"DONT TAKE YOUR MOTHER FOR GRANTED" (considering Alura)
-Karas understated naivety and thrill with Gotham U
-seeing ALL the movies
-Steph and keggers
-"NO CHOICE SINCE ITS A 3D MOVIE" (considering its all the rage now)
-intro of Newton. A GothU character with real personality that doesnt go cliche villain and could become an occasional cast member
-their moviehouse banter
-"I ASSURE YOU IT DOES NOT" This almost brought a LOL and definitely made up for the unfairly unclear quick change of Steph
-the ripping scene: the Batbra bit was funny but so was Kara ripping her sweater instead of pulling it over her head too
-a fun film factoid
-actually liked the stake/nerd comments. Its not like Newton would think of himself as a nerd
-the fact that there is a list of alternative 'Kryptonites'. It helped make up for the poor choice of including solid light vamps
-the two page collage of defeating Dracs was pretty fun. It helped make up for the overall poor battle choreography
-"I'D HAVE A NICKEL." Its a classic bit that fits.
-sharing the last 'kill'. Nice old school Aparo B&B feel to the ish.
-the loneliness character development (that Quinn&Otomo mention)
-reference to the US military (considering WONK and AmazAttk)
-shes a Bender fan! (considering the keg joke)
-the art
-an ending that was literally "THE BEST" for this kind of tale

The only way it may have been more fun would be if they went ahead with that (only 2.99 not 3.99) pay for view pillow fight!
