Gotta say, after reading the David Hine interview in Newsarama, my enthusiasm for Batman Inc. really waning.

Here's hoping that Bob Harras is big believer in "editorial interference" and he drives Grant off the Bat books and we get a new Bat-writer who believes in short story arcs and keeping the "Bat Family" to a minimum (preferably Bruce, Alfred, and Steph, that's it).

Harras apparently edited the X-Books with an iron fist, so there's that. Personally, I like the guy.

That said, I figure boredom's pretty much the only thing that'll drive Morrison off the Bat-books. Sales aren't going to drop enough, I'd suspect, and they'd almost certainly rather replace ANY editor than Grant, to avoid the firestorm of "editorial interference" protests from the fans of his work.

has actually kind of enjoyed Morrison's work, although Dini's was better.
