What did you think of the Huntress #6?

The Huntress mini in general? The lovely art? Compared to classic Helena?

Who knows if it was slated to end in 6 from the get go to be the the 1st completed series of the new 52?

How did it end up doing in sales?

Anyone excited that it leads to teaming up with Power Girl in nu-World's Finest #1?

Who just wants the spoiler links of interest? ;\)

Well from the interviews with Paul Levitz it was always set up to end with the Helena Wayne reveal and while Sales weren't all that spectacular on it it succeeded in presenting a reasonably good tale and some of the very best art I've seen in a while.
It was definitly a Batman book, I enjoyed the fact it involved an international scope and dealt with organised crime cartels, no super-villains. I don't see the removal of the Huntress from the Batman world as a major loss as that world is constantly getting bigger and has plenty of popular stars of its own as it is. I was never a huge Helena Bertinelli fan and the idea she's always been Batman's daughter (sort of) is the sort of imaginitive territory I always like about the Earth-1 & 2 set-up, I look forward to seeing it developed again here. Lots of scope.

While I felt the last page of The Huntress should have been better (more of a closure/renewal, less cryptic and inexplicable!) the new 'World's Finest' book looks to be a fitting successor to the Superman/Batman title, Power Girl and the Huntress were a great buddy team back in the day, two quite different personalities with a believable friendship. There's an urgent need for such buddy double acts in the DCU and this book deserves to succeed in my view, looks good!

Reading the upcoming Earth-Two and World's Finest...
