I have recently been re-reading the trade of the Alan Grant/Breyfogle Detective run, and the original Anarky story was in there. I think that he is a cool character, but I'm not really sure what to make of him. Is he a villain? Hasn't he been an ally to Batman and co in the past? I do like the character, but I think that maybe he should be left in the past. I know that he's been in Rebirth, but I haven't really been reading much of the Detective run. I did read that he's been written differently than Grant wrote him. I think that maybe only Alan Grant should write him. Does anyone have any thoughts on him, positive or negative?

I always thought he was very English and reflected what was happening in thatcher’s Britain.

That made it a strange fit for Batman, an American character. I just never thought he worked. Also I really dislike Breyfogle as an artist. But that is just a preference on my part. But art I dislike really can affect my enjoyment of a story or character.

But I could be wrong.
