> Okay, I'm guessing that Marvel intends to release all of Hudlin's Panther run in trade paperbacks, but why does the company refuse to release the rest of Priest's run in trade paperbacks? And I still cannot understand why they would release the rest of Priest's run in French but not in English. This move seems like it would alienate Panther fans in America.
> This is very frustrating. Now, of course I have more important stuff to worry and think about, but sometimes it is just the small things in life you wonder about and go "Now how does THAT make any sense????" :-@
All I can suggest is to email Marvel. If you go to http://www.marvel.com
you can post at their message board or the blogs (perhaps Tom Brevoort's). You can always ask Joe Quesada at Newsarama's "Joe Fridays" column:
or if you plan to attend a convention that Marvel attends (like the NYCC, San Diego, Wizard World) you could ask them at one of the appropriate Marvel panels.
It is only through a perceived demand by the fans of these Priest BP trades (or JUNGLE ACTION trades/essential editions for that matter) that Marvel would consider producing them.

Yeah, I e-mailed Marvel about a year ago, asking them to release the rest of Priest's Panther run in trades as well as McGregor's run, and all I basically got back from them was "Thanks for the comments, we'll look into it" or something to that effect. But I guess more e-mails couldn't hurt!!!!
