> My opinion actually comes from my respect of McDuffie. Hudlin writes Panther's main title, and regardless of my opinions of his quality, he has every right to set Panther's characterization. I think Dwayne, as a professional, will respect that.

To think that the man will 'dumb down' his writing style for anyone does not show much respect for him as a writer and creator. If he mimics Hudlin's writing in any way, IMO it would be because it is something he likes, not because he is trying to appease Hudlin. McDuffie respects continuity and will stay true to it.

Anyhow, T'Challa has a full page of dialogue in this last FF issue and I doubt that anyone would judge this dialogue as Hudlin influenced.

> Perhaps McDuffie will be a good influence on Reggie's writing, but I doubt it. Hudlin's taken nearly 24 issues to do a half way decent story. I'm not about to shell out money on the hope that Hudlin will improve.

Hudlin has written decent issues and has improved.

And by respecting continuity, he would need to respect Hudlin's take. Dwayne may not 'dumb' Panther down, but I doubt he would write him to the fullest potential we know he's able to (as that would outpace Hudlin).

It's taken him some 20 plus issues to write one decent one. IMO, Hudlin still hasn't written a good story, let alone a good Black Panther story.
