I don't understand. You complain about Hudlin supposedly not showing Panther's tech savy, yet complain about Hudlin using the Kimoyo Card.

Hudlin has NOT established Panther as less tech savy than Priest. He may or may not have written the use of it as skillfully as Priest, but he has not contradicted it and clearly has attempted to show it. Panther tech gets them into and out of 42 and Panther tech puts Doom on the ropes. Panther tech deactivates Widows stingers. Panther tech may allow Blackbolt to speak safely and sends Panther and Storm to the moon more efficiently. Panther tech creates armor comparable to Tony's. Panther tech allows the Dora Milaje to take down a sentinal easily. McDuffie has all the room in the world to use tech as he pleases and staying reasonably consistant with Hudlin's Panther would not mean dumbing him down.

I agree with this. Same for the armor.

First, I did not say that Hudlin's BP wasn't using the technology at his disposal. I said that I hope McDuffie writes BP where he relies "Heavily" on his tech "SAVVY", not only his tech "USE". To me there is a difference. In Stan Lee's version of BP, Wakanda's advancement as a technological superpower came to be BECAUSE of T'Challa, not because he inherited hundreds of years of scientific knowledge. And although you are right that Hudlin has not shown BP to be less a genius than in previous versions of BP, he hasn't displayed BP's prowess as a genius all that convincingly or skillfully. Hudlin's attempts, IMO, have been very weak.

Second, as far as me bringing up the Kimoyo Card, that was my attempt to show the contradictions between Hudlin's BP and Previous continuity. Hudlin using the Kimoyo Card is yet another ironic moment in this current run because it shows a connection to T'Challa's previous, fully_fleshed_out, technological background, yet this current run has, at best, awkwardly shown his so-called genius intellect.

Third, my use of the term "dumb-down" is not a literal description of Hudlin's BP, but a figurative comparison of the current/previous/current(???) run to the previous/current/previous(???) continuity.
