I wasnt accusing Priest of anything. If you read the thread I was simply responding to a post that implied that Priest was: (im parapharsing)"white friendly"(maybe this person said it out of sarcasm??) I simply said "that could be the case" simply as food for thought. I was musing. I respect anybody who blazes a trail anywhere, and though I havent read works of his I am sure that his is quite respectable with or without my approval. Its ok to make rebuttals but lets be sure not to put words in anyone's mouth. To me thats just as disrespectful. Remember I did not bring up Priest...

We were talking about a statement this gentleman made out of sarcasm..I totally got what he was saying. What Im saying is nothing agianst Priest himself. What Im saying is that one person may see and percieve his work in the framework of said statement or some may see his work as a masterpiece. But thats what art is it's up to the person to take in what they take from these works. No one was saying "Priest writes white-friendly" in a accusational sense, to me it was totally speculative. All I said was "AH, that could be the case". Again speculative. Honestly, I don't think Priest would have such longevity writing in such a fashion and all this should be taken as speculation.
