He is a much better writer than Hudlin ever will be. However Dwayne McDuffie's writing is very much like fan fiction in that while good it does not elevate the character of Black Panther to a new level. Dwayne McDuffie is trying his best, but his best is just homage to Priest's writing and not the real deal. There are only two writers I know of that have been shown to be able to write Black Panther. These two are Don McGregor and Christopher Priest. Hudlin is a hack that could not write to save his life and McDuffie is an imitator, albeit a good one. | |||||||
