> Has there ever been any mention of any other Black Panthers by name, other than T'Challa, T'Chaka, and Bashenga? One of T'Challa's grandfathers was named Chanda in an old Fantastic Four Unlimited issue, but that story contradicted just about everything related to Wakandan history, so it was summarily ignored. (It claimed that Chanda was the very first Black Panther, among other things.) One of T'Challa's in-continuity grandfathers was Azzari The Wise, but I don't recall if it was ever established whether he was a Black Panther or not. He was probably King at some point, since he brokered the land deal with Canada that was used in "Enemy Of The State II", and if that's so then it's very likely that he was also a Black Panther. - Jer | |||||||
