which is surprising for anything written by Hudlin. Most of the time when Hudlin is mentioned, the pitchforks are dusted off. Nevertheless I can't really sy I have seen anyone comment on the upcoming Skrull stuff. Personally Panther in Alternate Universes = lame to me. Hell I didn't like it when PRiest did it with Happy Pants Panther and the Wild West stuff.

BTW this art isn't bad but it is not a good fit. Way too cartoony.

Although despite myself I did find the Zombie arc pretty funny (its over btw), I would rather seen T'Challa in dealing with Wakanda and the political implications of being in the US and away from his country. The upcoming Skrull stuff doesn't look to appetizing to me either. Wake me when its over

And rightfully so ;\)

But with the Zombie issue, Hudlin wisely put an emphasize on characterization. From what I saw/heard, he used Torch's ex-wife Lyja to get some mileage out of him, had some decent characterization of Cage and even used some interaction between Zombie Wolverine and Storm. Plus, as the foes were zombies, it was alot easier to enact crippling violence against them without worry.

Granted, there are still HUGE problems with his series, but as a one off adventure, it didn't seem that bad.
