Has marriage made Ororo a stronger or weaker character?
I appreciate the focus on her outside of the large team setting, and I like her character much more than I ever did in the X-books. Somehow, Hudlin makes her more of a human being in his writing than the X-writers (even Claremont) did for me.
Other views are welcome, but I think we have enough evidence to make some judgments now.

If you do enjoy strong female characters, here's an opportunity to introduce yourself to a new one.

"Wetter than a reservoir/ lurking in the bushes/ striking blows like Chesimard code-name Assata" (Rah Digga, Tight, 1998)
Did you ever wish Halle Berry in Swordfish had been as clever and aggressive as Rah Digga during the heist? When will Angela Bassett get the lead role in the big screen version of Wildseed by Octavia Butler? Imagine if Gabrielle Union's beauty and intelligence made her an action star more dangerous than Jason Bourne!
The combination of power, beauty, skill, and wisdom these women present focuses your imagination in Walter Greason's novel, Communion. Rosha -- a goddess born to assure justice on Earth -- is captured and imprisoned; her powers turned into a source of injustice around the world. The story of her revolt, escape, and ultimate triumph will inspire both the young and the young-at-heart.
If you are looking for a fantastic myth of personal discovery and celestial victory, get your copy of Communion today. It is available as an e-book and in hard copy through AuthorHouse, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Borders.

It has the potential to make her a stronger character. Storm's been around non stop since her introduction in largely the same role. No other character can really say that, and it's not a good thing. Characters need breaks from the spotlight, especially those with weaker dynamics than say, Panther or Cap.
And while she may not be getting a break, she is at least in a new role. It makes little sense given the current direction of the X-verse, but that direction makes little sense itself, so hey!
So I think it could be good for her, but I learned early on not to trust in Reggie's writing ability.
