No other character can really say that, and it's not a good thing. Characters need breaks from the spotlight, especially those with weaker dynamics than say, Panther or Cap.

The more I look back at the de-powered Storm with a mohawk stories, the more I dislike them. Even the way she got her powers back seems distasteful to me, and I never liked the relationship with Forge -- though, oddly, the quickness of their break-up bothered me as well.

I have enjoyed Reggie's writing more than most, overall. However, regarding Storm, it is becoming more and more apparent to me that I hated how she was written from 1985-2006 -- despite never noticing my distaste.

For that realization, I can only thank RegHud.

Her powerless phase might not have been the most well written time for her, but it was one of the best things to happen to Storm. Every character needs a shakeup, and that's the closest Storm's come, IMO.
