Heh, well, what too many of Priest's fans (and I'm one of them) don't seem to own up to is the fact that Priest has never had huge appeal as a writer. How many big-selling titles has he ever written? Can anyone here name even two? Even if you can name one, that's pretty unimpressive for someone who's been in the business a couple of decades.

And I'm sorry, you can't just blame his poor sales record on the comics companies not promoting his titles sufficiently. For whatever reason, it seems his writing style lacks mass appeal. That doesn't mean its bad, only that it doesn't seem to attract a large number of fans.
