I mean, granted it's Hudlin whoring the title out to a more popular concept, but that's nothing new. A one off adventure with his new team is hardly uncalled for. My thoughts on it below

I didn't like them when PRiest used them and I don't like them now. Nevertheless the Zombie story was mildly entertaining and wouldn't be so bad if other issues had been addressed. Like you said it's a one off adventure but it seems that this series has been nothing but one off adventures without really establishing more central concrete themes. I mean I know I don't have to explain this to you. It basically boils down to being bored with the non-progression of the main story. We were promised a reconciliation of lingering plots after Civil War as well as the development of more Wakandan and African-based heroes, villains and supporting cast. The first issue after the Civil War came and showed a glimpse and probably started at least 3 different plots but then frogs came and will be dealing with that for at least 10 months. Lame!
