At least the entire issue sucked, and it's not just Panther being overlooked by the writer. That's gotta be a step up, right?

I'm wondering if Panther is off preparing for another encounter with Venom. Also, maybe this take on Panther has him being more silent because that's just how he is, and the only time he talks is when he really has something important to say.
If this is not the case, than Panther's characterization will suck. But didn't Loeb say that the Panther in Ultimates 3 would sort of be like "Batman?"
Panther probably got smacked into the next town, got mad and immediately ran off alone to get ready for a rematch.
