From what I recall, the tradition has been kept to keep the peace between tribes. I would imagine that there would be internal unrest and hostility. Certainly this is a story screaming for explanation.

My presumption also. Especially since Ororo is an outsider to the Wakandan society.

I wish the "Volume II" team could do a 4 or 6 part mini to tell the story. Thanks for the info, Bob.
