After learning of Hudlin's exclusion from writing BP during the Secret Invasion event, I got to wondering...

Is Hudlin getting "Blackballed" from Earth-616??

I mean, after the 3 issues that Jason Aaron is writing for BP/Secret_Invasion, it will be about 2-years since Hudlin has written anything that directly affects the rest of Earth-616, outside of Wakanda.

Other writers are using BP in Earth-616 events in the past year...why not Hudlin?

I wonder if this has anything to do with his poor showing on Ish 25 (Civil War) which he botched up badly? Cause since then, he hasn't written much that was in continuity. And if they didn't cut this past Frog storyline short, Hudlin might not have writing anything in continuity at all, from issue #27(Zombies) thru #41, when Jason Aaron finishes his Invasion arc. Any thoughts from anyone??

I doubt he's gotten black-balled. Marvel, for whatever reason, has given Hudlin alot of backing and he's done what he's seen fit.

I think the only thing 'keeping' Hudlin out of 616 is the writer himself. And in the interests of fairness, that's not always a bad thing.
